Some just drank themselves to death, unable to leave the occupied territory, and some continue to live there, but the last point is more about Crimea; some Ukrainian furries remain there. But I don't hear about furries recently in the eastern regions controlled by Russia.
In past years, I heard stories about Ukrainian furry community members that Russia directly hurt in ORDLO (LNR/DNR). Some furries successfully fled from Russia-occupied Donbas; some were wounded have lost homes during artillery strikes. Some remained there, were tortured and ran.
